CAPDROFAR – Argentine Chamber of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Producers was set up in 1981 as a company association that gathers the main manufacturers of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) in Argentina. CAPDROFAR promotes the national manufacture of chemical substances used in the production of medicinal products with high quality staff, modern technology and process compatible with the preservation of the environment.

CAPDROFAR is a civil association with the following objectives: to defend the interests of the Argentine API industry, of raw material manufacturers for the pharmaceutical industry and, in general, of supply producers of any origin, used for humans, animals and/or plant health. It is committed to cooperate with the development of technologies, methods and procedures applied to the pharmaceutical industry, as well as to its growth, in the increase of exports and the decrease and substitution of imported supplies ensuring and defending the principles of private initiative, free trade and free association of parties, according to the rights and guarantees established by the Argentine Constitution.
